Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026 · Contact: privacy@pocketlust.com
The short version: the PocketLust demo runs entirely in your own browser — profiles you create, photos you add and messages you type never leave your device. The only personal data we receive is what you deliberately send us: a waitlist email (and optional nearest city/region), or a feedback message — plus anonymous, cookieless visit counts that can't identify you. No advertising, no selling or sharing of your data, ever.

Who we are

PocketLust (pocketlust.com) is an early-stage service operated from the United Kingdom, currently in a preview phase. For anything in this policy, contact privacy@pocketlust.com.

What we collect, and why

What we don't do

Where your data lives

Waitlist and feedback data is stored with our database provider in the EU (Dublin, Ireland). The website is served by our hosting provider's global network. Both act as data processors on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails: until we launch and invite you, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. Feedback: as long as it's useful for improving the service, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@pocketlust.com and we'll act promptly. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Age requirement

PocketLust is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and it will be deleted immediately.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it — and if we ever collect anything new, we'll say so plainly here before we do it.
